Why every AREOLA pathway is elective, and what that means for pacing, deliberation and cost.

01

Elective is the whole practice

AREOLA has one kind of patient: someone who has decided they want this. There is no indicated pathway, no referral necessity and no clinical urgency behind any plan the Institute makes. That is a defining fact about the institution rather than a category within it.

02

What elective demands of the Institute

A patient who does not need a procedure deserves more scrutiny of the decision, not less. Consultations are longer, the Institute asks for time between planning and commitment, and specialists are expected to say plainly when they would not proceed — including when the reason is that the patient does not yet sound settled.

03

Permanence

Replacement is permanent. Profile and finish can be revised, systems can be exchanged and collections can grow, but the underlying decision does not reverse. Every planning conversation states this directly, and patients who want to think about it for a year are told that a year is a reasonable amount of time.

04

Cost follows from it

Elective care is privately paid in full. How Estimates Work sets out how a plan is quoted, and Private Client Services prepares an individualized estimate once a plan is defined.
