Surface and design references.

Satin, brushed, high polish and bead-blasted surfaces give the steel family more range than patients expect from the most restrained material in the portfolio. Bead-blasted and satin finishes age the most evenly, which is why they recur in plans for physically active patients and for anyone who would rather not think about maintenance.

Availability depends on the selected system, profile and individualized plan.

02

Clinical plate design.

Steel is the family against which every other option is compared, and it carries the widest profile range in the portfolio. Planning usually starts by establishing whether the objective is for the result to be unremarkable — in which case the conversation rarely leaves this family — or whether surface character matters enough to accept a different maintenance relationship.

03

Long-term system care.

Ordinary washing and drying. Surgical steel tolerates daily life, sport and equipment better than any other material AREOLA works with, and its finish tends to even out rather than degrade. Care guidance and the registered model are held in MyAREOLA and reviewed at the Annual Plate Check.

MyAREOLA keeps the registered model, design history and relevant care documents together.
